    Please join us for the monthly Deschutes County ARES/Auxcomm meeting on Wednesday, 10 July 2019 at ODOT. The aggenda includes: a review of using the website for Forums & Blog; After-Action-Report Oregon ACES training & upcoming ;Mudslinger 100 Mile & 24 hour Cycling Events.  

    This month’s Evening Meeting is on Wednesday, 10 July, 2019. The time is 18:30 h to 20:00 h to be held in the UP-STAIRS CONFERENCE ROOM (Ground Floor) of the ODOT Building. Located at 63055 N HWY 97 (Third Street) in Bend across from the Sonic Drive-in, North of DMV. Drive through the DMV parking lot to the front of the District 4 Headquarters (Building K), the single-story building and park.

    THE ENTRY POINT:  Through the front door (East side) of the single-story building.  There is an ARES Button at the front door. “Press it” for someone to open the door.

    All Central Oregon hams are welcome !

    We will be monitoring the Mt. Bachelor repeater 145.450- T103.5

    • 6-8am MorePacket Pickup Wanoga Snow Park
    • 8am-8:15Mandatory meeting for all Team Captains and anyone else wanting to attend
    • Food Truck Arrives
    • 8:30 First Volunteer Shift (Sign up mandatory for all Teams of 4 or more)
    • 8:50 Line up for Lemans run (NO Bikes and 400 Yards to start your lap)
    • 9:00 am Start (Please remember to walk through transition area to have your lap count)
    • Results live
    • 12 pm food vendor starts serving food and beverages
    • 7:30 pm Lights on bikes including taillight set to steady when dark
    • 6-8 PM Deschutes Brewery!
    • 8:47 pm Sunset
    • 9 pm NO MORE LAPS FOR THE 12 HR PARTICIPANTS
    • 11 pm Quiet time or after 12 hr awards
    • 11 pm IT GETS COLD Summer or Fall…..32 is the average and some years 28
    • 5:45 am Sunrise and Pancake Breakfast
    • 10:30 pm 12 HR Awards
    • 9 am no more laps for 24
    • 11:00 am or earlier 24 HR awards 3 deep Gold, Silver Bronze Medals
